Rex & Satin Rex

I breed both Standard Rex & Satin Rex. The difference between the 2 are purely the hair shafts. A Satin Rex has a hollow hair shaft which in turn causes light to reflect off the coat giving off an almost glowing appearance in the sun.

Both varieties have short, dense like coats that resemble the feel of a Mink Blanket.

A lot of mis-information is out about Rexes that they are great for allergies, this is NOT the case! In fact I find during moult that their coats irritate me more than my other breeds.

They both sit around the 2.5kg-3kg mark here and both breeds are kept completely separate from each other in terms of breeding.

Prices range from $60-$150

Rexes I specalise in Broken Pattern, Chinchilla, Ermine & Orange

Satin Rexes I specialise in Orange only. Looking at branching out to Ivory
